Users in the sysadmin group
vadduser
are empowered to perform
vlistuser
general system administration
vrmuser
on your server including user
vuserpriv
and process management,
vedquota
and management of the
vpasswd
filesystem as a whole.
vchmod
Sysadmins can also enable
vchown
and disable network services
vrm
that run from inetd.
vkill
vls
inetctl
Webadmin
Users in the Webadmin group
apachectl
/www/conf/httpd.conf
are empowered to start, stop,
apxs
/www/conf/defaults.conf
and manage the Apache Web
vaddvhost
/www/conf/vhosts.conf
server. They are able to add
/www/conf/mime.types
virtual hosts and Apache
modules and edit the Web
configuration files, but do
NOT have access to the main
Web server logs.
ftpadmin
Users in the ftpadmin group
/var/home/ftp/
are allowed to place files in
the ftp root directory, making
files available for download
via anonymous FTP. They
can also create welcome
messages that are displayed
to anonymous FTP users.
mailadmin
Users in the mailadmin group
mailctl /etc/mail/aliases
can start and stop your mail
/etc/mail/virtusertable
service, and edit the
/etc/mail/access
configuration files related to
/etc/mail/catchall
your Sendmail server.
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf
/etc/mail/local mail hosts
pkgadmin
Users in the pkgadmin group
vinstall
can install applications from
our Software Application
Library, and remove or
reinstall packages that have
been previously installed on
your system.
