We can obtain even more information about these connections by using the
db2 list applications show detail
command. Figure 95 shows the result of
running this command. The result is now showing more information for each
database connection. In the case of a database instance shutdown, we would
normally use this information to check on the status of the connections and
determine if it is safe to forcefully disconnect these connections.

Should we still choose to stop the database without waiting for all the
connections to terminate, we have to use the command:
