2.1 Opening Macromedia Dreamweaver
Before you can use a program you've got to know how to open it. And once open,
Windows users have the opportunity to select either the version 4 or the MX version
workspace. Mac users, you'll be working with the MX version.
Opening Dreamweaver (Windows)
The first time you open Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, you may be asked to select a
workspace. The course and this manual will use the Dreamweaver MX workspace. If
you are a previous user of Dreamweaver 4, this is your opportunity to continue work
ing with the same interface.
To open the program, use either of the following methods.
Double click the Dreamweaver icon on the desktop.
Display the Start menu and choose Programs > Macromedia > Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX.
