Chapter 4 Creating a New Page
You can't have much of a web site without web pages, so let's get you going on creat
ing new pages. We'll show you how to create, save, and preview web pages, but the
content, layout, and design is up to you. Don't worry though, we'll provide some
suggestions along the way.
After reviewing this chapter you should feel comfortable with the following tasks:
understanding the icons on the Standard and Document toolbars
viewing a web page in each of the three Dreamweaver views
adjusting document properties such as Meta data, page title, and basic page prop
erties
saving a web page
previewing a web page
using the Reference panel
There all sorts of options available just in setting up a new web page, without even
starting to type the content and add the images you are sure to want. Thankfully, it's
all quite easy and user friendly in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
