Font colors
If you thought that font faces and text sizes were ambiguous and arbitrary, then
you've got a break coming. Font colors are fairly consistent and standard since
they're dependent on the monitor and have nothing to do with the browser or operat
ing system. So long as it's a color monitor, and the screen has recently been dusted,
then using any color from the basic 216 browser safe color palette should display as
intended.
5.3 Font Formatting
The previous section should have provided you with an understanding about the con
siderations in selecting font faces, sizes and colors. Now, you get to do the work.
There are multiple methods for each of the following formatting options, and while
we discuss each method, the images will display the most popular method: using the
Properties panel.
Font face
Use any of the following methods to modify text with a new font:
Select the text and choose a font combination from the popup menu on the Proper
ties panel.

Select the text, right click (Win) or control+click (Mac) and select a font combina
tion from the Font option on the shortcut menu.
Select the text, choose Text > Font and select a font combination.
