Chapter 6 Images

Images are a must have on many web pages because they support a topic, explain an 

idea, or simply present a point just by themselves.  Images can come from many dif 

ferent places and in many different forms.

After reviewing this chapter, you should feel comfortable:

downloading images from the Internet

inserting images onto a page

adjusting image properties

creating hyperlinks from an image

Although this chapter will show you methods for downloading images from other 

web pages and using them on your own page, you should be aware that copyright 

laws apply as much to the Internet as they do to other forms of media.
