Creating an absolute link using the Select File dialog box
1.
Select the text or image on the web page that you would like to use as a link.
2.
Choose Modify > Make Link,
OR press Ctrl+L (Win) or apple+L (Mac),
OR right click (Win) or control+click (Mac) the selected text or image and 
choose Make Link,
OR click the Browse for File icon in the Properties panel to display the Select 
File dialog box.

In the URL field, type the URL of the website to which you wish to link.

Click OK.
7.2 Internal links
Different than an external link, an internal, or relative, link is a hyperlink which dis 
plays a different page or location within the current website.  And by default, clicking 
an internal link will display the top of the linked page.  However, sometimes you 
might prefer to direct the browser to specific locations on the linked page, such as a 
particular paragraph or image.  To do this, you will need to first insert anchors and 
then direct the internal links to the anchors specifically.
In addition, it is possible to create a link that opens a non html document such as a 
Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, or the ever popular Adobe .pdf file.   Just 
keep in mind, that in order for a browser to open such files, the user's computer must 
have the corresponding application installed.
