Proposal to Add Federal Telecommunications Service   Long Distance (FTS LD) 

Management and Monitoring services seamlessly interact with the Government's 

specifically engineered server arrangement. If the Government takes advantage of a 

fully managed environment, we will provide the complete management and 

monitoring of the Government's servers. When the Government's servers or software 

reach the predefined thresholds, our network operations staff will be alerted and they 

will take action to resolve the issue before it becomes a problem. If the Government 

selected a standard server environment but elected to manage the administrative 

controls, add off the shelf software or even a custom application, AT&T can still 

provide the same extensive list of monitoring services.  

AT&T Management and Monitoring Services include system level and database 

management, web management and performance capabilities. 

System Availability Management/Monitoring including:  

CPU Utilization  

Physical and Virtual Memory Monitoring 

Disk Drive Capacity  

Server Process Monitoring 

Service Monitoring 

NT and Windows 2000 Event Log Monitoring 

ASCII Log File Monitoring. 

Web Management/Monitoring including: 

URL/Content Status Monitoring 

Latency and Response Time
