Contract # GS00T01AHD0002
Proposal to Add Federal Telecommunications Service Long Distance (FTS LD)
will replace the modified copy of the file with a current copy from a protected
location on the server. This ensures that, in the event of a hacker breaking into the
system, the web site will be protected against defacement.
Token Authentication
Token Authentication is an additional level of security for remote clients or
administrators. A token based authentication system is installed on each protected
system, and any logon attempt (over the network, via File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or
telnet, or on the system console itself) will be authenticated.
O/S Policy Auditing
O/S Policy Auditing is a host based security solution employing agents running on
the Government's servers. The agent scans the Government's system and generates a
monthly security report. The monthly report is reviewed by highly trained security
professionals to ensure correct analysis. The auditing service helps reduce the
likelihood of a system penetration due to administrative configuration errors.
Monthly Net Security Audit
Monthly Net Security Audit reviews the Government's network and provides a report
based on a database of known vulnerabilities. The report offers information about
areas vulnerable to new and existing exploits, critical operating system/network
weaknesses and secondary operating system/network weaknesses.
One Time Net Security Audit
