you are using a domain name you registered elsewhere). The pending state occurs for all 

domain registrations and changes. A new domain takes up to 72 hours to propagate across 

the Internet, depending on the extension you have chosen.  

While your domain is pending, you will not be able to send or receive mail, but in the 

meantime, you can edit your default mailbox, create new email addresses, set up POP 

access to your account, and more. We will notify you as soon as your domain has become 

active.  

Set Up Your Default Mailbox 

When you sign up for Yahoo! Web Hosting, we create a default mailbox for you, the plan 

owner. We suggest that you begin by personalizing your default mailbox name.  

Business Mail 

If you use Business Mail, head straight to the Email Setup Wizard to get started. You ll find 

the wizard in the Getting Started module (if you have not yet deleted it) on your Home tab, 

as well as on the Index tab.  

The Email Setup Wizard will help you personalize your default mailbox 

(admin@widgetdesigns.com), then guide you step by step through creating additional email 

addresses and activating your catch all mailbox. Your default mailbox cannot be deleted,
