Next to the ZIP/Postal Code field, you will see a checkbox next to the I m
Online icon. If you use Yahoo! Messenger, this will let your visitors send
you an instant message by clicking on this icon on your starter web page.
(When you are offline, the icon will change to display a "Not Online" message.) Select the
checkbox to add the icon to your page; leave it unselected if you don t want to include it in
your contact information.
Can I add images to my starter web page?
No. Using one of our professional looking, predesigned templates, you can use your starter
web page to display contact information and a short description of your business or project at
your customized web address. To add graphics or HTML code to your web presence or build a
full, multipage web site, you ll want to try one of our other easy to use design tools.
Can I customize the starter web page templates?
No. The starter web page is a one page templated placeholder for your domain. Your service
does not include web site building tools beyond what is offered in the starter web page. The
Starter Web Page Wizard is available in your Domain Control Panel.
You can use the Starter Web Page Wizard to add a heading and subheading, your email and
mailing address and even your Yahoo! IM Online status. Font editing and web page formatting
are not available through the Starter Web Page Wizard. If you want more flexibility, try one of
our other easy to use design tools.

The starter web page feature includes only one web page. Using one of our professional
looking, predesigned templates, you can use your starter web page to display contact
information and a short description of your business or project at your customized web

How do I publish my starter web page?
After you create or edit your starter web page, you should publish to make your new or
updated page available to your web site visitors. Publishing is one of the final steps of
creating your starter web page.
Please note: Your starter web page will not be available at your web address while your
domain is pending (you will be able to preview your page). We recommend that you do not
share your web address until your domain has become active.
