Web Hosting Getting Started Guide 143
We recommend choosing the extra transfer option to ensure that you do not experience an
unexpected interruption in service. Keep in mind that extra data transfer is applied on an as
needed basis; you will not be billed for this option unless you need it to keep your site active.
If you find that you regularly need to add data transfer to accommodate your growing site, it
may be time to upgrade to a new plan. You can learn more about our Web Hosting and
Merchant Solutions plans on the Yahoo! Small Business home page at
How can I figure out how big my files are?
You can easily review your file sizes in your File Manager. The far right column ("Size")
displays the size in KB of each file.
To check the size of a file on your computer, you can open its properties. If you are using a
PC running windows, right click on a file, select "Properties" from the menu that appears, and
look for the file size. If you re using a Macintosh, you can open a file s properties by single
clicking on the file to highlight it, then opening the File menu and choosing "Info."
For more information, please see the disk space area of our online help center at
or read more about data transfer at
