Proposal to Add Federal Telecommunications Service   Long Distance (FTS LD) 

The customer will be notified of outages and security events. Notifications 

can be customized for prime and non prime times and can take the form of: 

Email messages 

Alpha pager messages 

Telephone calls. 

Predetermined actions can be cataloged for outages and events, such as 

restarting services and shutting down services. 

Problem resolution will take the form of: 

Dispatching AT&T trouble reporting services for circuit outages or loss of 

Internet connectivity. 

Dispatching service vendors for hardware component failures. 

Resolving configuration issues. 

Researching performance issues. 

Provide standard monthly reports recapping issues and outages and reporting 

performance trends.
