Self Installation applies to ADSL Line shared single users. The customer will need to 

answer three questions: 1. Does the Government have six or more devices on the 

phone line that will be utilizing DSL? 2. Does the Government have a Burglar Alarm 

or Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) on the phone line? 3. Is there any 

other device that will require the use of a splitter on the phone line? If the customer 

answers yes to any of these questions, they will be charged a fee for professional

Single User Options for 608/128 Kbps and 1.5 Mbps/384 Kbps are used when there is 

only one PC connected to the DSL. It is intended for use in qualified residential 

locations and is not available at any site where only business telephone lines are
