Preferences

The Preferences menu deals with a variety of general settings for Hosting Controller including paying online, view 

ing transaction statements, changing your password, your personal profile, setting up initial scripts, nameservers,

and domain registrants.

3.2.1

Reseller Settings

You can set a variety of domain creation options for each reseller. The following options can be enabled or

disabled:

  Named based domain creation   Allows the reseller to create domains using domain names, as opposed

IP addresses.

  Display available IP's   Allows the reseller to view available IP addresses when creating a new domain.

This is only available if the Named based domain creation tick box is not checked.

  Display Ports   Allows the reseller to view available ports when creating a new domain. This is only

available if the Named based domain creation tick box is not checked.

To set reseller domain creation options:

1. Click on the Reseller Settings link in the Preferences menu.

2. Choose the required reseller from the drop down list and click on the

button.

3. Click on the required tick boxes to set the options for that reseller.

4. Click on the

button.

3.2.2

Setting menu options

The Menu Options area allows you to control the menu options that your clients see. You can choose to enable

or disable a wide variety of options, from Forums SQL to Server Trouble Tickets, if required.

To set menu options:

1. Click on the Menu Options link in the Preferences menu.

2. Choose the required reseller from the drop down list and click on the

button.

3. Click on the required tick boxes set the options for that reseller. Checking a tick box means that that

particular menu area is disabled for that reseller.

4. Click on the
