Plan Manager
Hosting Controller has extensive hosting plan facilities, allowing you to create customer specific plans for key
clients that offer specific resources and options for a particular price. You have total control over the price and
discounts that you offer, and how much of any resource is provided.
3.3.1
Listing hosting plans
Hosting Controller enables you to list all of your available hosting plans at any time in one window. You can
quickly edit the properties or resources of any of the listed plans from this window refer to page 24 and page 25
for more information.
To list your hosting plans:
1. Click on the List Plans link in the Plan Manager menu.
2. You can now view a list of your available hosting plans.

Editing a plan's properties
You can edit all of the properties of a hosting plan at any time, including the name, description, status, cancellation
policy, and pricing information. This information is used to create a list of available plans for your customers, so
it is important that you keep this information up to date. If you need to alter what resources are available in a
particular plan, refer to page 25 for more information.
To edit a plan's properties:
1. Click on the List Plans link in the Plan Manager menu.
2. Click on the radio button next to the required plan, choose the General Properties selection from the
available drop down list, and click on the
button.
3. Update the following fields, as required. This information is used to create a list of available plans for your
customers, so fill in the fields in a readable manner.
Plan Name The name of the plan.
Description The description of the plan.
Status The current status of the plan. Only plans with status Available are able to be used for
new customers.
Cancellation Policy The cancellation policy for this plan. The customer can view this information.
Setup Price The set up price for this plan.
Initial Duration, Recurring Duration The billing period duration, either for the initial setup or
for regular billing.
Initial Price, Recurring Price The price of the plan, either for the initial setup or for regular
billing.
