CHAPTER 3. HOW DO I USE HOSTING CONTROLLER?

Deleting a hosting plan

You can delete a hosting plan that is no longer used at any time. Deleting a hosting plan has no effect on the

web sites that you are hosting with this plan.

To delete a hosting plan:

1. Click on the List Plans link in the Plan Manager menu.

2. Click on the radio button next to the required plan and click on the

button.

3. Confirm that you want to delete the account in the dialog box.

Adding a hosting plan

Hosting Controller enables you to set up and customize any number of hosting plans for your resellers and

customers. You can set up the name, description, status, cancellation policy, and pricing information. Once you

have added a new plan, you need to edit the properties of the plan   refer to page 24 for more information. After

you have done that, you may need to edit what types of resources are supplied with the plan   refer to page 25

for more information.

To add a hosting plan:

1. Click on the Add Plans link in the Plan Manager menu.

2. Fill in the following fields:

  Plan Name   The name of the plan.

  Description   The description of the plan.

  Status   The current status of the plan. Only plans with status Available are able to be used for

new customers.

  Setup Price   The set up price for this plan.

  Initial Duration, Recurring Duration   The billing period duration, either for the initial setup or

for regular billing.

  Initial Price, Recurring Price   The price of the plan, either for the initial setup or for regular

billing.
