Payments

Hosting Controller gives you total control over the billing and payment process. Hosting Controller enables you

to accept online and offline payments from your customer, generate online invoices and email them automatically,

and view customer specific transaction reports.

3.4.1

Entering offline payments

Offline payments are payments that are made you in any form, other than credit card. You can choose the reseller

or client who made the payment and enter all pertinent details about the payment.

Note:

Hosting Controller does not force you to enter all the relevant details about a payment, but it is

recommended to do this for your own records.

To enter an offline payment:

1. Click on the Offline Payments link in the Payments menu.

2. Click on the radio button next to the required customer and click on the

button.

3. Enter the payment amount in the Amount field and choose the type of payment from the Payment type

drop down list.

4. Enter the check or draft number in the Check/Draft No field and the bank the check or draft was drawn

on in the Bank field.

5. Enter the account number and routing number for the payment in the Account No field and the Routing

No field, if required.

6. Click on the

button.

Deleting an offline payment

You can delete an offline payment that was entered incorrectly. It is strongly recommended that you do not delete

offline payments on a regular basis.

To delete an offline payment:

1. Click on the Offline Payments link in the Payments menu.

2. Click on the radio button next to the required customer and click on the

button.

3. Click on the radio button next to the required payment and click on the

button.

4. Confirm that you want to delete the account in the dialog box.
