3.9. DOMAINS
CHAPTER 3. HOW DO I USE HOSTING CONTROLLER?
More secure Users do not know where your files are physically located on the server and cannot use that
information to modify your files.
Easier move directories in your site Rather than changing the URL for the directory, you change the
mapping between the alias and the physical location of the directory.
You do not have to use virtual directories; small or simple sites generally do not need to use any.
To view a virtual directory:
1. Click on the List Web Sites link in the Domain menu.
2. Click on the
button.
3. The virtual directories for the top level of your web site are now displayed.
If you need to view any virtual directories that are contained within an existing virtual directory, click on
the radio button next to the required directory and click on the
button. Repeat as required.
