Changing the properties of a virtual directory
You can change the properties of a virtual directory, which were set when the directory was first created, at any
time.
To change the properties of a virtual directory:
1. Click on the List Web Sites link in the Domain menu.
2. Click on the
button.
3. Click on the radio button next to the virtual directory that you want to change and click on the
button.
4. Click on the No radio button next to the Allow Anonymous heading if you do not want users to see this
virtual directory.
5. Click on the required tick boxes next to the Access Permissions heading. Refer to page 44 for more
information about these settings.
6. Click on the
button.

Deleting a virtual directory
Hosting Controller enables you to delete a virtual directory at any time. Make sure that all scripts using the
virtual directory are removed before deleting the virtual directory.
To delete a virtual directory:
1. Click on the List Web Sites link in the Domain menu.
2. Click on the
button.
3. Click on the radio button next to the virtual directory that you want to change and click on the
button.
4. Confirm that you want to delete the virtual directory in the dialog box.
