CHAPTER 3. HOW DO I USE HOSTING CONTROLLER?
3.9.2
Listing your FTP sites
There are two types of FTP sites used in Hosting Controller:
IP based IP based sites have a dedicated IP (Internet Protocol) address and can be directly accessed
using its IP address. An IP address is a series of numbers (e.g. 66.94.125.78) that uniquely identify your
FTP site.
Name based Name based sites share an IP (Internet Protocol) address with other sites.
Each type of FTP site is mutually exclusive of the other depending on the type of web site you have. IP based
web sites automatically have an IP based FTP site, while name based web sites automatically have a name based
FTP site.
