4. Enter the name of the domain and the domain's password in the Domain Name and Password fields.
5. Choose how many years you want to register the domain for in the Registration period drop down list
and enter the year that your registration currently expires in the Current Expiration Year field.
6. Click on the
button. You will now receive information explaining that your domain has been suc
cessfully renewed.

3.10.4
Transferring a domain
Hosting Controller enables you to transfer a domain that you registered elsewhere Names4Ever. This enables you
to manage that domain through Hosting Controller.
Note: You can only use Names4Ever if your hosting administrator is a registered member refer to your hosting
administrator for more information.
To transfer a domain:
1. Click on the Register Domain link in the Register Domain menu.
2. Click on the Names4Ever in the Domain Registrant drop down list and click on the
button.
3. Click on the Transfer domain radio button and click on the
button.
4. You need to complete all fields with a red star next to them. Enter the domain name that you want to
register and the password twice in the Domain Name, Password, and Retype password fields.
5. Enter the name of your organization in the Organization field and choose the number of years that you
want to register this domain for from the Registration period drop down list.
6. Enter the name of your primary name server and its IP address in the Primary Name Server and IP
fields. Refer to your hosting administrator if you do not know this information.
7. Fill in all the details of your administrative contact for this domain in the Administrative contact area.
It is important to include accurate information here, particularly the email address, as this person will be
contacted whenever there are any problems or changes that need to be made this domain.
8. Click on the
button. You will now receive information explaining that you have successfully trans
ferred that domain.
