Querying a domain

Hosting Controller enables you to search for all publicly available information on a particular domain name.

This includes who the name is registered to, the administrative contact for the name, and when their ownership

expires.

Note: You can only use Names4Ever if your hosting administrator is a registered member   refer to your hosting

administrator for more information.

To query a domain:

1. Click on the Register Domain link in the Register Domain menu.

2. Click on the Names4Ever in the Domain Registrant drop down list and click on the

button.

3. Click on the Query domain radio button and click on the

button.

4. Enter the name of the domain in the Domain Name field.

5. Click on the

button. You will now receive a message that states the availability of that domain.

Checking a domain

Hosting Controller enables you to check a particular domain name see if it is available, particularly useful if you

are planning on developing another web site.

Note: You can only use Names4Ever if your hosting administrator is a registered member   refer to your hosting

administrator for more information.

To check a domain:

1. Click on the Register Domain link in the Register Domain menu.

2. Click on the Names4Ever in the Domain Registrant drop down list and click on the

button.
