SQL Server

Microsoft SQL Server is a set of components that work together to meet the data storage and analysis needs of

the largest Web sites and enterprise data processing systems. It is a complete database and data analysis package

  web enabled, fast, and reliable. Hosting Controller enables you to view a list of all of the SQL databases used

by your clients, which you can delete, backup, or restore, if required.

To list all SQL databases:

1. Click on the List Databases link in the SQL Server menu.

2. A list of databases is now displayed.

Backing up an SQL database

You can backup your SQL databases at any time. It is important backup your databases often, otherwise you

risk losing valuable data in the event of an accident or database corruption.

To backup an SQL database:

1. Click on the List Databases link in the SQL Server menu.

2. Click on the radio button next to the required database and click on the

button.

Restoring an SQL database

Hosting Controller enables you to restore an SQL database from a backup file whenever required.

To restore an SQL database:

1. Click on the List Databases link in the SQL Server menu.

2. Click on the radio button next to the required database and click on the

button.

3. Click on the

button to open any folders. Click on the backup file in the file list and click on

the

button.
