DNS Manager
Hosting Controller's DNS Manager enables you view a list of all the DNS zones being used by your clients. Once
you have generated this list, you can edit any DNS zone that you require refer to page 69 for more information.
To list all of your DNS zones:
1. Click on the List Zones link in the DNS Manager menu.
2. You can now view all of your customer's DNS zones.

Editing a DNS zone
Hosting Controller provides you with an online text editing facility that enables you to edit a DNS zone configu
ration file. Refer to the ISC's Bind web page for more information about DNS zones.
To edit a DNS zone:
1. Click on the List Zones link in the DNS Manager menu.
2. Click on the radio button next to the required DNS zone and click on the
button.
3. Alter the displayed DNS file as required. When you have finished editing the file, click on the
button.

Restarting your DNS server
You can restart your DNS server at any time. This is normally not required, but can be a useful fix for an
occasional problem.
To restart your DNS server:
1. Click on the Restart DNS link in the DNS Manager menu. Your DNS server will now restart automatically.
