Creating or merging a subweb

Subwebs are virtual directories within a virtual server. Hosting Controller enables you to create new subwebs or

merge two existing subwebs together.

To create or merge a subweb:

1. Click on the Create/Merge Subweb link in the Front Page menu.

2. Choose whether you are creating or merging a subweb from the Create or Merge drop down list

3. Choose the domain name for the subweb from the Virtual Host Name drop down list.

4. Specify the port number for the subweb in the Port Number field. The default value is usually the correct

one.

5. Enter the name of the subweb in the Web Name field.

6. Choose the user name for the administrator from the Administrator Username drop down list.

7. Click on the

button.
