Deleting a subweb

Hosting Controller enables you to delete a subweb at any time.

To delete a subweb:

1. Click on the Delete Subweb link in the Front Page menu.

2. Choose the domain name for the subweb from the Virtual Host Name drop down list.

3. Specify the port number for the subweb in the Port Number field. The default value is usually the correct

one.

4. Enter the name of the subweb in the Web Name field.

5. Click on the

button.

Renaming a subweb

Hosting Controller enables you to rename a subweb at any time. This saves you having to delete and re create a

subweb in order to change its name.

To rename a subweb:

1. Click on the Rename Subweb link in the Front Page menu.

2. Choose the domain name for the subweb from the Virtual Host Name drop down list.

3. Specify the port number for the subweb in the Port Number field. The default value is usually the correct

one.

4. Enter the name of the subweb in the Web Name field, and enter the new name for the subweb in the New

Web Name field.

5. Click on the

button.
