Data on the geographical distribution of registrations under the new unsponsored gTLDs
(.info

.biz

.name
) is made publicly available by ICANN. These data are available by country and territory. At the
end of 2003, some 91% of these registrations, under new unsponsored TLDs, were made by users in
OECD countries (
Table 7
). The largest number of registrations were made by users from the United States,
followed by Germany and the United Kingdom.
