Important Name Server Registration Information

Once you have access to the 

Premium Reseller Order Form

 , you must establish all new accounts in PR 

DNS and within 7 days, transfer all existing accounts from the AIT production DNS to the PR DNS, 

and make all modifications to your domains with your registrar. Keep in mind that the DNS information 

for all accounts established on the PR shall reflect NS0.NAMESERVICES.NET and 

NS1.NAMESERVICES.NET 

Generic DNS: As a Premium Reseller , you receive generic DNS with NS0.NAMESERVICES.NET 

and NS1.NAMESERVICES.NET to facilitate anonymity. Your customers will not be able to track your 

DNS directly back to AIT using the WHOIS database by a simple domain name lookup. Remember, 

because the DNS for your domain name will change, you must allow 3 to 5 days for propagation of 

your new DNS once the root name servers have been updated. For 7 days after you request a domain to 

be moved to the Premium Reseller DNS (nameservices.net) we will keep your domain name in 

NS0.AITCOM.NET and it will also reside in NS0.NAMESERVICES.NET. This means that there won t 

be any down time for you, or your clients providing that you modify the domain names within that 7 

day time frame.
