AIT LAUNCHES NEW CPANEL

If you haven't noticed already, your cpanel recently changed.  Based on customer feedback, AIT has added 

several features that should help make your efforts to manage your server a lot easier:

(1) You can now add a Guestbook to your site using the control panel. Just tell the script your domain name 

and it will do the work for you. This works if you are a single account or a client of a reseller. Once you run the 

script, just create a link to http://mydomain.com/guestbook/guestbook.htm and you are ready to go.

(2) For our resellers, you can now automatically add cgi bins for your clients.  Tell the script what is the 

directory of the virtual host, the domain name, and the script will add it. Remember your clients will need to 

use http://theirdomain.com/theirdomaincgi/scriptname.pl when they are calling scripts they have placed in 

their cgi bin.

(3) Add logins to your htaccess for password protected directories.  You can now give new users access to

your password protected directories via the control panel.  Just fill in the location of your password protected 

directory and provide the new login and password. The script will add the login to the htaccess file and setup 

the

password for you.

(4) You will now be able to untar files you have acquired from one of the many download sites directly on your 

server. When you download the file, be sure to download the unix version which will have a .z, .gz or .tar type

extension.  Upload the file to your server, create a directory where you want the expanded files to be 

unloaded, and then run the script using your control panel.
